Wednesday (6/25) was the birthday of the late, great, Allen Lanier. He was a founding member, and the keyboardist, and occasional lead singer of the Soft White Underbelly. He remained with the band as it's name was changed to Oaxaca, then to the Stalk-Forest Group. In 1971, the name was changed for the final time to Blue Oyster Cult.
