Vedral is a better player than either Art or Langan. But after last week, I am not sure he is better than the combination of the two. I personally think that model gives us a much better chance right now

Gameplan was abysmal. I am stunned that we thought we were going to be able to run up the middle on these guys.

I know today would not be a great choice, but have Snyder or Simon been on the field this season?

Nuts Art wouldn't do well with the pressure the PSU dl is bringing, they are the 2nd most talented team we'll play all season after OSU **** i'm just hoping we don't get shutout.

I’d rather eat poison Ivey thank watch this crap. Noah’s arm is way too weak. No respect from any defense means it is that much harder to run the ball. We were doomed the minute he started this game. This is painful.

I wish he put Art in. That way he could have gotten sacked 6 times and fumbled 2-3 times and everyone would shut up

I'm fine with starting him. His versatility is an asset when it's a close game. Once we get down a few scores it's over. You gotta put in someone who can push the ball down the field. I get that Art has his own limitations, but one thing he does have is an arm. Keeping Vedral in was just delaying the inevitable. We we never getting back in that game with him in there.

Two minutes left in the fourth quarter...down 16. Stuck with Vedral. I could not believe my eyes. It’s like we didn’t care.

I agree.. especially on windy days yoiu need some zip on the ball.

I wonder if you put a stopwatch on the same throws from Sitkowski and Vedral what you would see. My eyes and gut tells me that when Sitkowski and Vedral both throw bubble screens that Sitkowski's arrives a lot faster and in better spot for the WR to catch it and make a move. ANd that you would find that the same thing is true on most throws.

Now.. Vedral can run better on designed QB runs.. but when they are not working or he is a bit banged up.. as he is not 100%, right?... then unless there is some other big factor to this.. I don't see why you cannot put in Sitkowski in relief.

Just like Langdon couldn’t run today. There are no good options when your Oline is getting destroyed. Vedral is the best of the bad options.
Vedral added a running component--not like the sledgehammer approach of Langan, but he finds openings and makes things happen with his legs.

Finally a voice of reason. Vedral made throws. Receivers dropped passes. There were no deep routes to be run because of the pass rush. It's not that hard to understand.
2 big drops by WRs, and blocking was terrible. On one of the QB draws that gained a first down, two of our olinemen missed their blocks. They had a bad day.

Melton made two fantastic catches today, the TD and the one where he got hit hard and flipped. But he missed one he usually does not miss that he probably would have taken for a TD. The one Jones missed was a contested catch and a nice play by the PSU DB. Vedral is not a worldbeater, but he put the ball where it needed to be for most pass plays today.

Outsiden Melton's great catch, we were held scoreless. Why wouldn't you give someone else a chance to put points on the board. This is not on Vedral but rather on the coaching staff.
