Can't help it, I'm a homer...38-3 Bama. Defense plays a good 1st half but tires in 2nd half. Bama holds OU O to less than 200 yards
I get it. Some radio host admitted he was an OU homer and said 19-17 OU. A win over Bama would sure take some sting out the crappy season. Hope you are both rightCan't help it, I'm a homer...
OU 24-21 simply because Bama has zero respect for us and is looking forward to Auburn

Agree CT...what is sad is I'm not sure how weak the force must be before we can compete...this, IMO, is sadder than the Blake years. We should have NEVER dropped off this much in the last few years. This will be, by my count l, the 4th toughest opponent that OU has faced at home.
The three others were: (in my opinion)
1966 Notre Dame
1971 Nebraska
1985 Miami
All three were OU defeats.
I’m aware the Alabama is not as great as it’s Saban vintage, but I see this year’s team as still a force that OU can’t stand up against.
I was at the 83 Nebraska @ OU game. That was a pretty good team, too, with Gill, Rozier, and Fryar. Lost that one as well, but might not have if OU hadn't had a lineman jump when they were inside the 5 about to tie it up. Relative to the era, I'd say that Nebraska team was much better than this year's Bama. That said, this year's version of OU isn't close to '83.This will be, by my count l, the 4th toughest opponent that OU has faced at home.

I'd also rate the 1994 and 2000 Nebraska teams better than this year's Alabama team. There are probably several more over the years. 2012 Notre Dame was probably better. Alabama is not some juggernaut this season. A decent comparison would be the 2016 Ohio State team that visited Owen Field.I was at the 83 Nebraska @ OU game. Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer by 4 touchdowns or so.
The LR fiasco started the slide and BV just han’t been able to fix it so far. Like 67 said it is going to a bumpy rideAnd….if a new OC is NOT hired soon it may be an indication that Venables’ time at OU is over.
With very tough games with Alabama and LSU looming and recruit OT Fasusi visiting Texas, Venables looks to be on very thin ice.
56 - 3. The cheerleaders go through the Joker makeup artists to try and paint a smile on their faces but to no avail. They throw the pom poms on the field and quit in disgust. Our QB's are plastered all over the interwebz lying in the fetal position due to numerous bludgeoning sacks. Venables will talk about God, family, and competitive spirit, oh and this is not the result they wanted.
Lincoln Riley, even with his good W/L record, has proven to be the worst coaching hire in OU history. The LR fiasco started the slide and BV just han’t been able to fix it so far. Like 67 said it is going to a bumpy ride
