Certainly not wishing for it, but put-a-gun-to-my-head-and-make-me-bet I'd say Glenbard East.

Also, every single CCL team.

I heard Hillcrest, #1 seed in 5A South bracket, lost their QB for the season for Week 9 going forward. Could result in some "exposure" at some point?

If we are going strictly off of the seeds, the biggest upset I see in the lower classes would be Herscher taking it to 2 seed Chicago Dunbar.

Dekalb could have issues with LZ if, big if, LZ can do some things offensively. This is a different (and improved) offense with Moses at QB.

Obviously someone who just assumes prior years has something to do with current year. The only thing this team has in common with the prior ones who flamed out is their record. Not ready for a big run yet with so much youth, but not going to lose to 5-4 Reavis.

Just hoping :) but too bad your 82 team did the choke job to Robeson, otherwise I would have watched you hoist the gold ball in the game right before the Rams did it.You’re also correct as they did flame out :(

Yeah, that could definitely make it "iffy". Interested to see how that effects them. Loosing a starting QB is definitely a blow.

Ahh....wishful thinking, I understand. Nothing wrong with being a little bit of a homer now and then. Just hear too many people assuming this team has anything in common with prior teams. Alot of changes in the last 12 months there, so I'm optimistic they will make a step forward this year. Although, with alot of underclassmen starting, hey'll have to PROVE IT.

That top bracket of 5A: Payton, Evergreen Park, Elmwood Park and Back-Of-The-Yards.

Woof.

I don’t understand how Oswego beating a darn good Plainfield South team by a touchdown, puts them on upset alert. Particularly in the opening round.
My guess is a closed conference. Which, in the grand scheme of things, is fair. However, if you know that team, I would be absolutely shocked if they got upset in the first round. I have them playing in the qtrs.
