All the transferring around that guys do these days bugs me. I don't like the graduate transfer rule at all. I hate seeing that kid at Oregon who used to be at EWU. I hate that I am going to have to watch that kid win a NC at Bama.

I know it is sometimes legitimate and for good reasons, but I think you should have to sit out a year no matter what unless you go down to AA.
Why in the world do you think that?!?! Especially in a sport where scumbags like Petrino can quit valid long term contracts and go work immediately at another school without sitting out 5 minutes. Personally I think it is awesome that these kids get a bit of freedom to do whatever they want with no chains of restrictions slapped on them. The idea of kids having to sit out years, or having to beg permission for a list of schools they can be allowed to transfer to while an even longer list of schools they CANNOT go to exists is just so wrong.

My bet in Vegas paid off now that this had landed on page three. Low return on my investment.

The grad transfer rule is a great rule. I hope coaches and the NCAA do not screw the players by taking it away. UL would not have a basketball team without the rule.

I'm not even sure if Kiel wants to leave UC, and, if he did, he might be leaving to the NFL. His draft stock is probably not all that high, considering he missed the bowl game for unknown reasons, but he's still a legitimate talent and should go in the 3rd round or so on that alone.
