It would be awesome if our commit ends up at WSU with Leach?
Was wondering the same thing. I agree with one of the other posters that we'll probably hold on to Mac unless we crater the season. If we were to lose him, I'd rather it be much sooner rather than much later.

Yes this is not a slight to UK at all. He's said all along and UK has agreed all along that he only goes through the process once and should at least take all his visits

Hopefully since it isn't TU or Transfer U he won't be swayed by "benefits" that UK wouldn't even think about offering. I know, the Orange Pride has been banned by the NCAA (officially at least) and things are a little hot in Louisville at least temporarily but still. When prospects visit those two schools you have to worry a little bit about their character also. And didn't we just have a Vol fan start a thread on here claiming if one of our commits visited there it was a done deal that they would get him?

And I guess since TU gets everyone that visits they will probably sign about a hundred this year instead of the usual 30 or so and sort them out later, some of them didn't have legit offers, etc, etc.

Nothing wrong with him taking visits. He's stated he's 100% to UK several times. Nothing to worry about.
Agree, I think we are in good shape with Mac.

Nothing wrong for a young man seeing the Country.

We need to not be fearful and build a dam strong program.

2017 four-star #Kentucky QB commit Mac Jones tells me next week he's visiting #ArizonaState (3/28) and #Cal (3/30): http://www.scout.com/player/199538-mac-jones…

When you recruit kids other schools like it happens. When you are getting kids no one else is interested in then its time to get concerned. All you can do is hope he isn't swayed by what he sees. Be glad it isn't Ole Miss or Auburn who has invited him to take a visit, those are the only 2 in the SEC I suspect of cheating bigtime now. Butch is a slick salesman and kids are buying into it, he better meet expectations this year and Saban is sitting on top of the hill looking down at everyone and kids want to play for him.

If you dont think Bama not bending the rules in their favor you are badly mistaken . Its not cheating to them because they do what ever they feel like doing and to hell with SEC or NCAA.

Hopefully he has a serious gf that he thinks will actually last through college. [jumpingsmile] Or else the ASU pool party's this time of year may be enticing. Ask Gronk.

Why does Bama have to bend the rules? They are on the top of the college football world, have been 7-8 years, kids fall over themself trying to get a Bama offer. Same for UK basketball, I don't think UK cheats when they have number 1 class after number 1 class. Saban is a great recruiter just like Cal is, they are at the schools who have more tradition in their sport than anyone else. Does Saban oversign, certainly he does, does he manage his roster, he sure does. While those 2 things may be morally or ethically wrong, they are not against the rules. UK BB fans are fanatical about UK BB, but they don't touch Bama fans, who will shoot and kill each other and have recently over the outcome of a game. The latest one shot a friend at a football party because she was able to laugh after Auburn beat Bama. She wasn't taking the loss hard enough. Bending rules is not the same as breaking them. I just don't think Bama is buying players now like they were in the old days, other than to mess with Auburn. Now when Saban steps down and Bama isn't the dream offer for about 15 of the top 100 every year they might revert back, but I think they are probably the cleanest program in the West right now.

The thing that has him maybe wavering,if he is! Is the Gran and Hinshaw want him to play the read offense! I don't think he is comfortable with that!

Other schools tried using that against us. Hinshaw nipped it in the bud. We do not run are quarterbacks very much. Yes gran will use it from time to time but look at cincy qb rushing totals. Qb running is not a big play for this offense.

Not as the prime approach. As a change up or it certain situations, but not a near every play set.

Just won the Rivals top QB for second time, this time in Atlanta. Supposed to be on campus Tuesday. Skinny Tom Brady, hits that back foot and ball is there. Great prospect.

Yeah, this is a kid we can not afford to lose to any other school if we ever want to turn the corner and actually go places in football. With the offensive line we have coming in the next few years, i can understand why a qb would want to play for Kentucky. You bring in a great line, you bring in a great qb. This guy has the potential to be great in a few years in the sec.
