Why do all the QBs throw the ball so low? Not just MG but Brown does as well. We're passing more, but they're clearly being coached to avoid risk.
I know Hank is leading, but JH just has that moxie that I love. Would love to see him get his shot.

We don't have the horses to throw all over the place.
If Iowa did want the fans want to see with the current roster, we'd be losing a lot.
Coaches are making the right decision with the personnel we have.
Now, we'd like to get the right personnel to play like that at some point, and with the direction of college football, we'll need to do so sooner than later. This ain't your dad's B10 anymore. Undersized big heart, lunch pail kid ain't gonna cut it vs the elite.

An underthrown ball is more often an incompletion.
An overthrown ball is often an INT.
Gronowski's performances in the first 2 games had Kirk's risk averse fingerprints all over them. Every miss (and most makes) were universally low, and the guy played so tight that if he'd swallowed a lump of coal he'd have shat a diamond. Games 3 and 4 were a total reversal.
Saw the same in Brown. Almost as if "remember, keep the ball down" is whispered into their ear before they hit the field
I haven't seen the second half of yesterday's game yet because of a wedding I attended. I don't know that I want to watch the second half.
You'd throw low too if all your receivers came from The Shire.
