VHSL checks enrollment every 4 years now? Next re-class cycle will be 2018?

If the answer to that question is yes, what if a school has a severe drop or increase in students in between cycles? Does said school file a waiver to VHSL or is school just stuck in their class for 4 years no matter what?

If I understand the process correctly a school can petition for a waiver or reclassification if there is a significant drop off. Not sure about increases though.

Significant increases or decreases in enrollment will be evaluated every 2 years. For example Woodgrove and Champe may be bumped up before the 4 year cycle because of the rapid growth in Loudoun Co.(not to pick on them, but 2 examples of potential bump-ups)
