I don't see much of there games but is he doing anything at all at UK? I know there defense is bad but i thought he would be more of an impact player. Maybe its him or maybe its coaching but have not heard much out of him. It was a head scratcher when he turned down USC and UL and said Stoops is building something special at UK and they had big plans for him whatever that meant.

It was his choice. Its what he wanted. Devante talked with him and told him if he wanted to win games dont go to uofk. He went anyway.

I heard he was suspended and just came back a week or two ago, I don't know what it was for. It really doesn't matter though, he went to sUcK for football so he will never be heard from again anyway.
In yesterday's game, one of the two commentators pointed out that Hatcher was not being used to his potential. He said that Hatcher would be better suited rushing the QB, and did not have that assignment in the defense.
Actually agree with the commentator. Hatcher has looked really good at times and disappeared at others. Problem is that he's playing more OLB than DE but rushing the passer is his primary strength. He's not getting that opportunity b/c UK is using him to help shore up some of its other deficiencies on defense. He'd be a consensus NFL prospect if he were playing for almost any other team.

Bottom line he is a DE not a linebacker. They aren't recruiting the right players the 3-4. He should be rushing the QB 90 percent of the time.
He saw immediate playing time like most of those guys. Winning wasn't as important as playing, good thing he chose UK.
