I recall the games after the first week or so were played on a Saturday. Are first round games played on Friday nights, provided the field has lights?

1st round is a Friday/ Saturday mix. After that predominantly Saturday

You can play Friday if both agree. If not then Saturday and if teams do not agree on time the IHSA will set it for you.

First round games are a Friday/Saturday mix. Second round games are mostly on Saturday - though there are a few on Friday. Quarters and semis are predominantly on Saturdays - mostly in the daytime
