This whole thing started because they found a playbook in the locker room the day before the game. The only thing I have seen addressed was the phone call between the radio guy and U of L's coach. That still doesn't explain how the playbook got there. Has anyone offered up an explanation as to how it got there?

I may be wrong on this one, but here's how I understand it.

It was NOT WF's play book. It was a few trick plays described to Galloway by Elrod. Galloway drew them up as they were described to him.

They found a Louisville game plan during their walk through which included certain signals and packages to use against WF plays. The problem is their were plays in there that Wake Forest had no installed until the week of the game.

Jurich says none of the plays were run during the game...really.....Wake Forest knew they had prepared for them.

WF, I think ran one and UL defended it perfectly. Once you know that your work has been revealed, it would be foolish to run the plays. That is one reason Jurich's comment is so pathetically stupid.

Incorrect. Wake knew the day before the game that those trick plays had been compromised. Both sides admitted that none of the plays were run in the game.

And again, it wasn't the entire play book. It was a few trick plays which had never been run during the season. They had been practiced, but never run. That's how Wake knew there was a mole. The only people that had seen these plays were people that had seen them practiced.

Follow the money. Has anything been said about whether or not the WF radio announcer was paid anything for providing the playbook? And/or, from other schools who allegedly may have done the same? Would be interesting to hear just how much money, if any, was involved, what were the source of those funds and how were they delivered.

Sound familiar to another UL scandal?

I don't know all the details as well as you do, because I am not as worried about this stuff as you are. But I have seen a bunch of your posts on the general subject of UL athletic corruption, and you are missing the big picture. Your basketball coach, who was married, had a contentious physical encounter involving sex with a woman IN A RESTAURANT (LOL!) while his associates were guarding the room. Then he hired an expensive attorney to push the blame onto the woman who could not afford her own expensive attorney. It worked. Your basketball coach denied responsibility for the Katina Powell scandal, in which Louisville players and recruits were provided with prostitutes by a member of his own coaching staff. Your athletics director hires expensive attorneys and consultants to compartmentalize responsibility and protect himself. Your last football coach hired Clint Hurtt (LOL!) at the height of the Shapiro scandal in Miami. Your current football coach uses traitor leaks on opposing staffs to steal game plans prior to football games. Your University President and your Board were forced to resign. That's not all, but it's a good start. I can understand why a dedicated long time UL fan has rationalization so for all of this, and I'm sure other Louisville fans agree with your take for now. But the dominoes are falling, and this won't end well. Prepare yourself.

They found some of UofL's defensive game prep that included diagrams of the plays Wake had installed in practice that week, but never run. According to Louisville media, it's not uncommon for that stuff to be left around the stadium prior to the game.

I did read on twitter last night that a WF player suspected more plays were compromised because they had a new play designed to isolate the TE and when they ran it, Louisville triple teamed the TE from the start, like they knew exactly what the play was out of that formation.

Apparently, Kratz is an insider and knows more about the scandal than most.
Nowhere have I read Wake Forest's version of what materials were given to UL.
I have only seen UofL's version. I guess we should believe Jurich and Petrino.

This if far from being over.
I wouldn't stand too close to the fan...

You must not be paying too close attention to the board then. I'm getting shredded over there because I'm mad and embarrassed about all of this, and I'm letting it be known far and wide. The part that upsets me the most is that it's STAFF causing the problems, not a few rogue players. Go back and read the board, you'll see it.

Now with that being said, I'm not going to ignore false or incorrect accusations either. The WF coach has said himself that it was some "special" plays that had not been used yet this season. It was discovered the day before the game, and they chose to not run any of them during the game. Now personally, I have no reason to not believe the man. It was his team that was victimized. Why would he lie about that?

GREAT POST! I find it hard to believe, that any fan, with any morals would continue to defend Jurich, Petrino and Pitno. A University's problems can be attributed to the school's President, AD and fans. If they will put up with immoral coaches in their program, then that's what they will get. I know we have some fans at UK, who probably feel, "Win at all cost," but I don't think that's how the majority of fans think. I know I sure don't! I want to win with HONOR.

I didn't understand fully the problem here until I read the WF coach explaining after the game his players looked at him in the locker room crying and one said " why coach? Why coach? Why would you have us practice plays all week and not run them . We had them . Why wouldn't you let us have our chance to win and let us run what we had practiced. "

Jurich ought to be tarred and feathered for his statement that what difference did it make they didn't run the plays. THAT S THE POINT PAL. THEY COULDN' T BECAUSE YOU CHEATED.

You saw the plays, or are you taking UL's word for it. Didn't you learn anything from BP looking the camera in the eye and lying--------AGAIN.
