When is the last time this team took a charge? I’m not talking about a chicken wing that gets called an offensive foul. I’m talking sliding over as the secondary defender, and taking one.

Charges are huge momentum plays a lot of times and can steal a possession by turning what would be a layup into a turnover (and a foul).

The NCAA changed the rules a couple of years ago to make it much harder to draw a charge by jumping in front of a ball handler/shooter with the intent of beating them to a spot and getting run over. You won’t really see anybody do that much anymore, which is honestly for the betterment of the overall game in my opinion.
