You can tell this is the best team that Mt.Airy has ever had...too bad at the end of the day...it wont be good enough..and the sad thing is....you guys know it...LOL..I respect coach JK..but it is the playoffs...and yeah Mt.Airy has a few more skill players this year than EW did last year and the year before..but a few wins slipped through his hands to teams that weren't better than EW....just saying

Gdawg..you should know by now..that anything you say about the Metropolis of the Ronda Redbirds goes in 1 ear and out the other..Mt.Airy for as good as you think they are, has a weakness or two..You forget that Virginia got knocked off in the NCAA tourney this past year...against a 16 seed..so anyone beating Mt.Airy isn't the stretch that you think it is. Now beating Tarboro is the stretch. You guys at Mt.Airy got exposed your 1st game of the season...but yall cats are still mad cocky..and were very lucky not takin an L to the 2w and 5 loss Rams. For the record no one is envious of Mt.Airy..its highschool football and they are a local team with local students..no more..no less

For all this talk of Mount Airy speed and atheltism. I have seen them. They do have a few individual athletes that will give 1a teams around here fits. But I didn’t see the team speed or athletes I’ve seen at from schools like Tarboro/Shelby/Reidsville/North Rowan/etc. Mount Airy is a good program but does not belong in the same breath as a Shelby or Reidsville.

Whatever you say or think you all know MA is a legit program. Show me last losing season they ever had.....u will have to go back long ways. Always in the mix and the hunt. Alot of teams would love to been playing in Raleigh last.year. Tarboro is dam good and dress 57 players last year. Wasn12-0 with 5 to go in game. Tarboro numbers and size wore MA down. Whats so funny is..we beat the breaks off East Surry last year at their place...They returned the favor a lot worse at our place..You speak as if you guys have the win in the bag against them..just a couple of years ago they beat ya overrated bears when they weren't supposed to ending your regular season on an L. Keep counting your chix before they hatch clown dude. At the end of the season..you will have a season full of memories, a year full of moral victories and ad libs of folk lore about once upon a time we were down by 12 wait 7pts to mighty Tarboro..then you wake up and lose by 20+..Lol..da print is out funny guy. EW has 4 regular season games left they could go 0-4, 1-3, 2-2..i don't see them winning all 4 honestly. I see Mt.Airy winning out and losing in the finals to Tarboro..I have babbled enough about EW and MA in fun..but I'm also a realist. EW has overachieved and has found ways to win games that in years past they would have lost. Possibly the coaching change is what they needed. Will def be a good season for EW getting thru the 1st rd. Honestly they have improved quite a bit since East Surry..and would have a better showing against them in a rematch..it maybe a 3td game not 6 or 7.

Ma / ES is a toss up it is every year . East might have slipped up but I still stand by my prediction early in the year. They play deep, there ain’t but 2 or 3 teams that can play with them in the west, next year they play in the ship, possibly this year. East Wilkes has surprised off of that 1st game , 7-4 or 8 -3 is a huge accomplishment for coach wilmoth and the red birds . Playing in the second round is as well
