Bruce Beck is a big time supporter of Rutgers and Greg Schiano. He used to host the Greg Schiano show during Greg's first term. When you enter Rutgers stadium, you may notice that Felix Beck is listed as one of the trustees on the stadium commemorative plaque. Felix was also on the Board of Governors AND is in the Rutgers Hall of Distinguished Alumni. Felix is Bruce's father.

Bruce is our biggest supporter who works in New York media. He is also a genuinely nice guy. We need more people like him.

I had no clue about that... all I knew was that Bruce is a long time supporter of Rutgers athletics. With your info in mind, I'm guessing that Beck Hall on Livingston Campus is named after him too.

Actually, Beck Hall is named after a Rutgers chemistry professor from the 1800's, but that was a good guess!

Back in the day, Felix Beck was Chairmen Emeritus of Chase Home Mortgage. For many years, Beck promoted a free employee tailgate party at a Rutgers football game and many hundreds of employees were provided free tickets to the game. It was a very popular event and helped to grow the fanbase.
