I would say Cancer is a stretch and yes, he mostly lied about it! But it not like it is bat sh*t crazy like you guys are making it out to be. It is being researched, so the medical community is at least interested enough in the topic to be doing current studies to understand the impact of windmills.

But I did find some interesting article's that states that infrasound could cause cancer.

http://wiseenergy.org/Energy/Health/LFN_and_Cancer.pdf

I also found a peer reviewed medical study that studied infrasound and cancer, they said that it is worth continued study as they found cause/effect but not enough to prove that it exists.

From a peer reviewed medical journal from Canada (it's Canada, it has to be liberal)

From the WHO (very liberal)

And from factcheck.org which debunks the cancer claims but does not mention any health effects of or any other downside. (typical)

  • "the US is the #1 producer of oil & gas in the world" true
  • "and that was all in the last two years" true
  • "In April 2012, he tweeted a story in which an epidemiologist testified before a county zoning board in Illinois, arguing that "people who live up to 2 miles away from the turbines develop such things as sleep, stress and mood disorders once wind farms go up." That story was featured on an anti-wind-energy site which, at another point, argued that people working in the wind industry had been subjected to "numerous serious illnesses and, yes, many deaths, mainly from unusual cancers." Perhaps needless to say, this is not grounded in any robust evidence. Any negative effects, in fact, appear to be psychosomatic." disprove it...
  • "it's a graveyard for birds" At the infamous Altamont Wind Resource Area alone, more than 2,000 Golden Eagles have been killed by the wind turbines there. true

now let's do Zero or Hilliary...

I will have to agree with him on the birds. A bunch of windmills were built near one of hunting camps in Mineral County and I see lots of dead bats.

My wife worked for Enron back in the day. They were the #1 developer of wind energy. They found out really early how bad it was, but kept it quiet. It was the Enron way.
