-Why do people keep saying Martinez is the best we have? How do you know? Prove it to me. If it's still the case......

-Why the fck didn't we go after a portal QB?

-How hard is it to tell someone to stand on the 10 and if the ball goes over to your head, let it go.

-. Related to the above, wtf do they do in practice?

-. Why do people say we have no talent? ALL of the recruits don't pan out? Manning is the top juco receiver only to suck? Toure is a complete stud at a lower level only to suck here? On and on.

-. How hard is it to make Pat's? Apparently very hard.

-. How hard is to punt? Again apparently very hard.

-. So why/what limited Manning? Looked like a beast when he caught that one pass. So injury or some BS still can't get him ready to play and know the playbook. Seemed like Illinois got that one receiver ready to play who I believe the announcers said was a former db and a freshman.

-. Why is EVERY team we play better at halftime adjustments than us. Jack chit for pressure on the QB after the half from what I can remember.

-. Lastly and somewhat related why is seemingly EVERY team we play better at blitzing than us? Do we teach our guys to Velcro suck into the blockers?

Don't disagree with anything, except that a portal QB would have been a tough sell. If you decided to transfer from your old school to get more playing time, would you go to a school with a four-year starter who still has another year of eligibility? That seems like the opposite of what you would want.

I want Frost to answer for what CTB’s instructions on the punt were, then assuming Frost actually knows the right answer (I’m not convinced) answer why he didn’t follow those instructions…. and why he trotted out there for the next punt if he’s incapable of following easy instructions.
That one play sums up more for me than about anything else, epitomizing the ineptitude of the staff.

The BIG has been pulling in big bucks for years and every team in the conference has been hiring great coaching staffs. While the best HCs continually look to upgrade assistants who are not P5 caliber, we have had HCs who cling to brothers, college friends and buddies who they coached with two or three stops back and they keep them on because they are great to go have a beer with. We are being outcoached - that answers most, if not all, of your questions.

It's obvious this team isn't doing the right things throughout the year to actually get better. That's the answer to all of your questions. Whether it's the off-season, fall camp, throughout game week, this team either isn't preparing at all or just not preparing correctly and that's what leads to the results we see on gamedays.
