Has anyone seen an official statement from U.K. administration, stating Mark Pope will return next year and articulating support for him?

I would think with amount of heat he has been taking (regardless of whether you support Pope or not) the Administration if intending to retain him, would have an official announcement of support.

I haven’t seen anything and may have missed something.

He just hired a GM, chances are he wouldn't be allowed to if he was on his way out.

I would think the administration would more likely want to pretend there’s no reason to wonder whether he’ll be back.
