Defense is their strong suit. They are in the top 50 in the country in defensive field goal percentage, points allowed, blocks, steals, rebounding, and total field goals made.

They are tough to score on on the paint. Top 20 in 2 point defense. Around 100 in 3 point defense.

Also generate a lot of steals, so Butler being available and taking care of the ball will be critical.

Think they compare more to Saint Peters than Oakland stylistically.

One note Koby Brea and Dayton did beat Troy last year in the non conference. So he’s seen these guys before

I'm a Marshall and Kentucky grad. I've watched a ton of Sun Belt games this year. Troy was the best team in an absolutely **** conference, but not by much. Sun Belt is mediocre top to bottom. We should win this game going away. Just don't think they have the offensive firepower to make it close.

St Peter’s was not worse. They beat UK, a good Murray team then beat Purdue. Oakland was a bad loss but Cal never prepared our team for them. That’s on Cal.

I remember that game, we should pressure the hell out them. They couldn’t handle the ball at all. Granted Arkansas plays way better defense than us, but if we get into them we will score a ton of transition points.
