The SIU-Edwardsville game on 12/13 is set for 3:00 PM CT on ESPNU.

NU has apparently also added a game with Illinois-Springfield, to be played on Tuesday, 12/15, also at 3:00 PM, CT, broadcast info TBA.

IL Springfield is another Alma Mater. Got a Maters from there as I was living in Springfield at the time. The had a pretty good soccer program but BB was not there at the time

Are they Division II?

It appears NU has now dropped the game with UI-Springfield and has instead scheduled Quincy for the same time on Tuesday afternoon.

Edit: And now the SIUE game has been cancelled entirely.

OMG, our offense looks so improved.

Audige is the best thing since sliced bread.

Our guys are so improved.

We are going to be so much more competitive.

As much as I'd love to believe this, Quincy is a division II school. There is very little to take away from these cupcake matchups.

This game feels like we would've been better served playing an intra-squad scrimmage instead. That being said, they've blocked us 5 times and we're only shooting 41.5% at the half with 3 starters in foul trouble?? Against Quincy?? MSU will destroy us if we shoot like this.

Dude, we are up 30 at the half.

Where are those streams? I've been checking my usual Reddit threads and I don't see them....
It worked towards the end of the first half. Like 5 min after you made your post there.

Since it’s BTN+ there were some issues and since it’s a low priority game they weren’t checking it that much.

I would not recommend watching this game, if you want to allay your concerns about this season

Needed this game to get some shooting confidence back, which hopefully will carry over going into the big ten gauntlet. When their shot is on these guys will be competitive. Let’s steal one of these first three Conference games.

I know a D2 team but sad that there was no conversation or articles about the game here or Inside NU

I was a bit surprised BTN ran a rerun, rather than carry the game. If they ran the game on BTN+, why not simply televise it?

I'd love to see some of the numbers on how they make decisions.

I actually got a one month subscription to BTN+ at the last minute and caught the game. First, the audio was Dave Eanet, and they used the WGN feed, so the experience was much better than usual. Audige was a ball hog in the first half and Kopp couldn't get going. Nance was his usual frustrating self. He did hit a couple of threes that looked good, but still has no inside game. Kopp got heated up in the second half, so I hope that carries over into the MSU game. Audige must've gotten a talking to during halftime, because he passed up several shots and passed the ball. He is our most versatile scorer and if he can make better shot selections he will be a big boost this season.

Just to put this in perspective, Quincy is not even a very good D-II team this year; they are 0-5 and last in their division/conference. But they did block 10 NU shots - amazing.
