I would have ranked "Put The X back in Sex" as the worst Kiss song ever, but then you remember the song "A World Without Heroes", or hell, the whole damn "Music From The Elder" album. I came THIS close to cancelling being a Kiss fan after The Elder was released. Symphony in Rock ? NO !!! Stupid name, even worse music on it. Ace WAS part of that shiit. Poor Ole Eric Carr it was his first album as the new Kiss drummer (And best they ever had). He had to of thought "WTF did I sign onto ?"
"I" and Dark Light" (which was sung by Ace) are the ONLY 2 DECENT, well able to listen to, songs on the god awful "album".

Ace actually played Bass on three of the songs on the album, "Under The Rose", "Dark Light", and "The Oath".
The Odyssey, “I”, and Dark Light are songs I always liked. Ace’s solo on Dark Light is nuts.
The best part of Music From the Elder was “Carr Jam ‘81” drum solo that was recorded during the session and stuck at the end of the Revenge album 11 years later as a tribute to Eric Carr. Just a badass drum solo.
