Mimi Barash Coppersmith, a Penn State alumna and philanthropist, publishing and advertising entrepreneur, and the first woman to chair the Penn State Board of Trustees, died on Sept. 14. She was 92.

Met Mimi several times back in the late 80s when I was student rep on BoT. She was quite a firecracker... a force of nature back in her day. RIP
