R.I.P. Jim O'Donnell

I have just learned that retired Loyola boys hoops coach Jim O'Donnell had a fatal heart attack earlier today. Those of you who have been to Loyola home football games will know Jim as the straightforward, no-nonsense PA announcer at Sachs Stadium for the past couple of decades. He taught me U.S. History at LA way back when.

Rest in peace, Jim.
