knights were also one of the biggest schools in 1a in those 16 years , beaten up on the little guys , shame on you

No we were even smaller back then, there were two other high schools in the county during the 60's 70's and one other high school during most of the 80's.

Dog tuff is right. Back then the cutoff was a fixed number not the bottom 25%. Another factor was that most years you only had to win 3 games to win state. Not a dog fan or knight fan, but I respect both programs. It seems odd when the dogs brag about winning when they were 2A and knights seem to envy dogs numbers. Does it really matter? Dogs, Knights and Devils all have tradition rich programs.

Wow I sense some panic coming from Graham County just judging from some of these posts! Already whining about Murphy being a 1a school lol! I thought this was just a bk thing but I guess he has company! At least bk hasn't thrown in the towel yet and I haven't heard one thing from him about numbers since rville beat Murphy in October.

The last time the bulldogs won the state championship they were stomped by swain 36 to 27 the same year but swain had to move up to a harder bracket in the playoffs or murphy would have probably faced them again.

Yep, and just like what I predict to happen tomorrow, Murphy would have won the rematch.

Murphy is like a big school yard bully if they get beat they whine and cry and make excuses. Why don't murphy move up to 2A or 3A where they belong. They might win two games a season.

Ohhhh, what's the matter bk? You not getting enough attention because of your team's title game win? So you feel the need to dredge up posts from Murphy posters from THREE MONTHS ago??? We get it. The knights won. We haven't forgotten. The sun shines on every dog's *** every once in a while. It happens. So I hope you wore your sunscreen! Act like you have been there before Mr. "We have 14 titles and you don't"!!
