Bucky bolts for BLM.
I think most all of us have learned not to believe everything you hear and read. Search the Smith Mundt act that Obama slipped through quietly in the middle of another large bill. It basically allows the federal government to lie to the American people under the guise of national security. It was only allowed to be used on foreign countries prior to 2012, but slick slipped it through quietly.

Oh bucky...don't you think you owe some people some apologizes now this this has proven to be a hoax?

Why are you running from this when earlier you were calling all of us racists...please come back to explain yourself.

At a Duke- BYU Volleyball match in Provo— at least one BYU fan shouted racist words at a Duke volleyball player every time she served. The idiot wasn’t removed And all that happened was a police officer being staged by the Duke bench. The school issued a statement, but obviously more should have happened immediately- the racist(s) should have been removed right away, the match should have been stopped. BYU should probably have forfeited if the fans wouldn’t stop this horrid behavior. For that matter Duke probably should have walked off.

Seeing Tylerites point about BYU- the BIG 12 doesn’t need this horrible attitude or behavior or the stain of it on the conference. Yormark needs to press them to take much stronger action than they have or think about keeping them out of the BIG 12. No BIg 12 athletes can be submitted to such heinous behavior and no visiting athletes or fans for that matter. It’s the sort of crap that kept them from a conference before- and should still.

If nothing more is done then WVU needs to start calling up the ACC and SEC again because WVU definitely can’t be associated with such absolute terrible people or situations.

Ban yourself. Seriously. Don’t ever come back. You were so sure that you were right, you had to spout off some unproven ******** because you are weak.

Soft ***

Is it possible that this thread was even worse than I could have imagined before deciding to read it?

In the end I can only blame myself.

For every truly awful act, there are a bunch of Duke Lacrosse teams and Jesse Smollett stories to restore your faith in the stupidity of man.

while the Nazified right wing spins out of control misinformation on the incident at BYU to pretend yet another racial incident didn’t happen, let’s take a closer look:
www.npr.org

BYU says it has no proof that the fan banned over racist slurs said them

The slurs marred a high-profile volleyball match between BYU and Duke last Friday. Duke sophomore Rachel Richardson says players were "targeted and racially heckled."
www.npr.org
www.npr.org

McBride said BYU Athletics staffers have been combing through the school's video recordings of the match to find anyone responsible.

"However, we have been unable to find any evidence of that person using slurs in the match," he said.

Similarly, BYU Police Lt. George Besendorfer told the Tribune that his agency did not find proof that the man yelled slurs, after reviewing video records.

“That person” does not mean NO person or persons committed the acts, now does it?

more excerpts:

As video of the raucous match shows, the student section at Smith Fieldhouse extends down to court-level, alongside the visiting players' bench area. Footage of Duke players serving shows that they often did so with a mass of BYU students yelling at them, just feet away.

So in fact multiple people are seen in video yelling at Duke players just feet away.

BYU hasn’t released the supposed video footage they reviewed, but they did admit to editing out audio on the clips first Before reviewing the footage in their own statements.

An easy way to resolve the issue would be for INDEPENDENT eyes and ears to review unedited footage from all sources and see what is seen or heard. BYU hasn’t released anything of course.

Neither did BYU state that they interviewed the actual team involved in the accusations. Hmmm, wonder why that would be? Seems you’d probably interview those who brought the incident to your attention which led you to post police and issue public statements. Yet BYU declined to do that.

The most important and yet ignored by radical right wingers? Not once has BYU said the woman lied. Now, why would that be exactly? Radical media is running wild calling it “another HOAX”, yet no one from BYU has stated the young woman or her teammates lied. If they believe it’s a lie, a hoax as the radical right want everyone to believe ( again), then why has BYU declined to claim she lied?

To answer your question Bucky, its either because they don't have all the evidence or, most likely, they have more class than to come out and publicly shame someone.

You have made several mistakes. First, you believed the word of this girl WITHOUT EVIDENCE. Right or wrong, you immediately threw BYU under the bus so to speak - all before any evidence had been gathered.

Its easy for anyone to do - accuse people of something. You do it on here all the time. No matter the evidence to the contrary, you spout off and, when evidence comes out that opposes your immature, premature reaction, you try to dispel it. Nice try, but you fail.

Second, to go along with your statement, it is also true that not once has BYU come forward and said the girl told the truth. That's because, as of now, the evidence shows she didn't. Intentionally or not, the evidence shows she didn't. The fellow she claimed said it clearly didn't - as witnesses and video clearly showed. He was exonerated.

Third, you find evidence of absence in the absence of evidence. You make up reasons why something happened without knowing or understanding the circumstances around them. You imply a lot of things, but proof of why they happened is nil.

Those are just a few for now. I'll let you get back to calling me names again.

BYU investigation finds no racial slurs against Duke volleyball player

"From our extensive review, we have not found any evidence to corroborate the allegation that fans engaged in racial heckling or uttered racial slurs at the event," BYU said in a statement. "As we stated earlier, we would not tolerate any conduct that would make a student-athlete feel unsafe. That is the reason for our immediate response and our thorough investigation.

Now the DUKE side...

From BYUs conference for volleyball:

the WCC said members of the Duke program reported hearing “language from fans that violated the WCC sportsmanship policies during the match,” and the conference said it could not rule out that slurs may have been used, even if the investigation did not find a “perpetrator.”…

“Upon review of the information received, we believe the institution implemented the appropriate game management protocols during the match and has since taken the appropriate actions to thoroughly investigate this incident,” the conference said in a statement. “We also believe BYU has adopted appropriate measures and policies to help avoid future incidents.”

so no, it hasn’t been proven that nothing happened, that the slurs didn’t happen, that there was no racism. That is radical right wing disinformation. BYU said they couldn’t prove the person they originally threw out was the perpetrator, not that no incident occurred or that Duke players lied as has been the rampant irresponsible spin And rush to deny anything happened by radicals.

Guilty until proven, beyond any doubt, innocent., right Bucky?

The person identified- by Richardson- didn't do it. Now we've moved on to another, mysterious, perpetrator who uttered the forbidden words in a manner that they could not be captured by audio.

This isn't stupidity; it's a philosophy. When facts come in conflict with Bucky's philosophy, the facts are discarded. The racist philosophy of people like Bucky overrules everything else.

It's time to just ignore these pandering racists.

How about this . Were any of us at the game?? How does this affect any of us ??? And who really cares. If it was said that is classless if not then no foul. Is it possible that something was said? Sure. Is it possible that nothing was said ? Sure.

I guess the big issue though is this. If the incident never occurred, BYU has been slandered, and it has caused harm to the institution. Other woke coaches, such as the SC women's basketball coach, took it upon herself to cancel a basketball game against BYU. I just wish people would refrain from quick reaction stands in cases like this, and allow the facts to come out. However, that's not the world we live in today, and thus, the country is going to hell in a handbasket. We know who is to blame for this though. Woke media and woke social media. They, and they alone have quickly torn apart a once powerful nation. Worst part, they're not finished destroying what's left.

I think BYU will be OK. This Woke stuff you are talking about is by a minority of people and do what I do ignore it, its just noise. Now the country going to hell in a hand basket I bet if you asked the Ukraine , Iraq, Pakistan , Hungary, North Korea ect ect ect they would say we are doing ok. We are just in a place like were were with McCarthism back in the 50's you know when everyone was a communist, but this time both sides have their minority bases running ****

From a write up in the BYU student newspaper:

One student wrote: “I was close to the ROC section and on the court for the entire duration of the game. My experience at that game was just like any other. Loud and energetic, but nothing out of the ordinary. Given the fact that there was a record attendance, I realize that if there was something said, I most likely couldn’t hear it.”

So, a player COULD hear it down on the court.....with it being a "record crowd"......but fans sitting near the alleged statement could not? Again, use simple logic here. If you are 15-25 feet from someone who yells something, even in a crowd, you are more likely to hear it than a player on the court, 50-60 feet away, hearing the same yelling and scream from ALL directions.

Yeah, who cares if an innocent man was falsely accused. As long as it's not me, who cares? If that doesn't sum things up nicely, I don't know what does.

Wrong. We don’t know if that person did something or not. BYU said after removing audio of the crowd and looking at surveillance footage ( and where were the cameras and mics?) they couldn’t say the perpetrator did anything. They didn’t say she lied, or that the entire Duke team was lying -you are wanting that to be the case.

Students who were there stated it was too loud to be certain if something was said or not. No one has interviewed the Duke players or team who brought the fiasco to the attention of BYU— who also moved the student section after making apologies btw.

Bottom line is that right wing media has run rampant making claims that something has been proven fake when that isn’t close to what BYU stated( or especially proved). If BYU believed the woman lied they would say so. They have not, only right wing media desperate to claim nothing happened and it was all made up for ? Have said that. BYU, after editing footage and talking with around 50 people ( and we have no idea where those people were in a sold out arena) said they were not able to prove a specific person did anything. They never said no incident as reported happened.

You don’t know who this man is Or if he was “ falsely“ accused. BYU simply said after editing out audio and looking at footage no one else has seen ( where were those cameras again? Because they weren’t on Dukes bench or where players serve the ball on a court). That they couldn’t prove a specific person did what had been reported. That doesn’t mean he didn’t do something— they couldn’t prove he did or not- but of course people who were there said it was so loud they wouldn’t have been able to tell either way.

Again, has BYU stated the Duke team lied? No they have not.

Meanwhile the specific player was named and you are accusing her of lying with no corroborating evidence. Wonder why that would be?

Did someone go to jail???? Were they attacked???? Did they lose their job????? If it did not happen then it did not happen. And again who cares really?
