Interestingly, I thought there were more than 1000 IU fans. It seemed that there were a lot present... maybe 1200-1500, but maybe I'm overestimating. They made some noise at the start and when they made their brief run in the second half, but for the most part didn't have a ton to cheer about today.

What game were you watching.
He's right, there was a good turnout by IU. My guess is close to 1,000, and opposing fans can get loud because their voices reverberate in there, too. But walking around before the game and at half-time, they were well represented. We were just louder and more more determined to quiet them down. Which we did.

I think it’s all tough to tell for us watching on TV because your are never sure how much the station is suppressing the sound. Likely louder then it’s comes across on both sides

IU had a nice showing. RAC is electric for RU!

RAC was great today and you know its sort of tough to get jacked crowds early in the season and to get Indiana a top 10 so early and have the energy in the building was great to see

Even in the creampuff games attendance has been very good and the place is just so enjoyable..never change anything..there i said it

It’s fun watching opposing over confident fan bases slither out with 4 mins left. Never gets old.
You aren’t kidding. They are always waiting for this magical run when they lay the hammer down on us. And then, it doesn’t happen and it goes the opposite direction. Sheer joy!

I saw a good amount of Indiana fans but they really didn't have much to cheer about

Some of them are clueless too. On my way out one yelled at me when was the last time Rutgers even made the NCAA tournament?

One particular dbag was yelling earlier in the game and when he left early the entire sections around him all were cheering as he took the walk of shame out

Got drunk on Indiana tears tonight and I love it

I feel like the early non conference games always make me forget just how insane the RAC gets for these types of games. Then the first big game arrives and I’m immediately reminded how magical that building is.

Love the new scarlet throwback unis, they should wear those all of the time.

Also that little kid who they kept showing on the screen in the Rutgers jersey was electric, really got the place hyped up.

Wasn't 1000 but still way too many to suit me; bad enough need to sit with all the other fans at the football games; but what is it going to take to get 8,000 or 7,950 (I'll let the other team have family & friends) of nothing but our fans in the building. Don't need to listen to them cheering when the hit the court or tie the game; but hope they enjoyed the serenade as they were leaving.

Brandin Gaudin, who’s done many of our big games at the RAC..said something about how the place is crazy but currently sounds like “the roof is gonna blow off”

Good things seem to happen when Gaudin is calling our games.

YES!! Don't ever change a dam thing about the RAC. And bring back the popcorn machine.
