Did anybody listen to the Robbinsville game? Radio announcer got mixed up and broadcast for the last seven minutes of the game that Robbinsville was losing and declared their season over as the clock ran out! Robbinsville was leading and won the game 30-27..….. Wow, had a bunch of people more confused than he was.

I tried listening last night but the feed was coming in at all different volumes. It'd be where I couldn't even hear it, so I'd turn it up, then it'd about blow my eardrums out. Finally just shut it off.
All my friends called me and thought we had lost. Just a honest mistake. Don't think it was that big a deal.
an honest mistake? how the hell can u broadcast a game and not know what the score is. sounds like a real dumbass
i am sure it was. i am just saying i could see it being a reasonable mistake to get home and away mixed up when you are playing at a neutral site.
Im sure he feels bad about it but not the end of the world.

A neutral site haha, robbinsville had to travel 4+hrs to get their. Wouldnt exactly call it a neutral site. And if the radio announcer had to travel that far to get their u would think he would know robbinsville was the away team. I meen damn the scoreboard changes after everytime someone scores u would think he would know to glance at it.
Well I was at the game and when we scored our last TD I only saw one ref (way over on the sidelines) give a very quick, very minimalistic hands up TD gesture. I really wasn't sure whether the refs were giving us the TD until we ran the failed point-after play and the booth put 6 more points on the scoreboard. Also CSOD got into the in zone again but it was negated by a penalty. So there was a couple of confusing moments toward the end of the game.
I agree with BK - I am sure the announcer feels bad about the confusion, but it was an honest mistake.
I for one, really appreciate WCVP making the four hour trip and broadcasting the game. I have family and friends that could not make the game and they were very happy to get the game coverage. I hope WCVP will come down to Winston-Salem and cover the championship game.

You know what I meant...just that it's not like he was looking at a field and scoreboard that said Davidson on it the whole night and still got mixed up. Yeh, it was a mistake, I'm just saying it's a little more understandable under the circumstances
