Not cooking anything special, I'm not a fan of chicken so that definitely won't be on the menu.

Spencer Lilledahl is the biggest nail-biter. Spencer gets a takedown in the center and its over. But if Lilledahl is in it late, i'm going to be scared.

Remember the Atlanta Falcons were called the dirty birds in the 90s. Went to a playoff game in Minnesota, there were so many posters of a middle finger that security had to take from fans.

Kind of weird choice, he just beat Minto last week at RAF. Maybe he just wanted to go out with a big win in his home state. Probably need to listen to the interview to hear the reasoning.

“I think maybe it was just the fact that I had gotten surgery and I couldn’t exactly do all the training that I wanted to do because I mean I was going from you know wrestling hard all the time five days a week to now it’s like, alright I drill for 10 minutes and my knees really sore and I got to stop and so that’s not really that fun,” O’Toole said of the challenges of coming back from injury. “I would constantly have conversations with my wife.
“I was like, ‘I don’t know why I feel like this. I’ve never felt like this in my entire life. Didn’t know if it was because of the injuries, but my body was starting to feel better. And then U.S. Open starts to come around, and it was like three weeks before, and I’m just like, ‘alright, I can’t do this anymore. Like, I need to talk to someone.'”
O’Toole noted a conversation with his father was the tipping point in regards to his decision. Despite going back and forth, he’s at peace with his choice and satisfied with his career.
“I knew there was going to be probably like one conversation where I really just like I I broke down, and I remember calling my dad and telling him about it,” O’Toole said. “And that was the one where I just like I was by myself, I was in the house, and he was like very supportive about it, and he was honestly very understanding, and he was like, ‘you know, I’ll respect you more as a man, knowing like when when you want to get out of something and move on to something else, because so so many people live their life of like being halfway in, halfway out to something.’ And he’s like, ‘you’re my son, I know how I am, and you’re very similar to me.'”

The guy was so good, he hid some major injuries pretty well. Would like to have seen him finish his career as close to 100% as possible....
Wait...he was competing AND coaching? No wonder he quit one of them. As we have been told this is basically something that's not possible.
He's been on the mend since his senior year. Smith added him to the staff for a couple reasons.
1. He's a REALLY good coach. His entire year he has been and has showed his capability.
2. Wanted to take care of him. Getting him a job, insurance, etc.
3. Didn't want to lose him. KOT is going to be fantastic for a long time. I view him the same I do Hayden Hidlay - lifers in the coaching world who will head their own program one day.
Agree I feel the same about Trent although he will probably be an assistant under Hayden
