He took over a program that moglia built up and left to him in great shape. One he was already on staff for. So he didn't take over a team with a depleted roster and low levels of football accomplishment.
so it's easier to move from FCS to FBS than it is to beat zero teams that ended the year in the top 25 at Baylor?

He didn't become the head coach until 2019. There were two years worth of fbs level recruits they had when he took over.

in 2018 he was suspended for a year by the NCAA because football players were found to have used scholarship funds to purchase electronics and jewelry from the campus book store at Charleston Southern, where he previously coached, so Moglia coached again following his medical leave of absense.
2019 he came back for good.

you're right, John. it's much easier leading a program in their first 4 years as an FBS program into the top 10 than it is to participate in a conference championship game at a school that's produced a Heisman trophy winner in the middle of the largest recruiting hotbed in the country while beating zero top 25 teams in 3 years.

moglia went 5-7 with 2 conference wins in 2018 before Chadwell took over for good.
I am not surprised you call that successful, seeing as you consider that same record a success in Rhule's first year here.
But he wasn't the HC to 2019. They had more than 45 fbs athletes by that time.
I know it's tough for you. But Rhule is a good coach. You're just gonna have to find a way to accept that.

I also find it quite funny that you and everybody else choose to praise raiola's OL "improvement" by pointing at the run game while at the same time refusing to even acknowledge his leading rusher, who only played 7 games.
