We were probably a few portal upgrades on the 2024 team (WR, QB, S, OL) from being a top 10 team. Make no mistake, the 2025 Huskers were worse than the 2024 team. Our schedule hid our deficiencies until we played three good teams to close out the year and got destroyed.

Just watching Miami tonight. I have been assuming that will be Raiola’s destination and the announcement needs to wait until Miami is done.
But why wait? Why not just announce already if it’s been agreed to? Are there some variables that could still impact the outcome? Is he hoping to bid Oregon against Miami? When do classes start, or does that not matter any more?

Miami hasn’t signed any player at any position out of the portal so far. Obviously a predetermined effort to wait until eliminated from CFP.
