He was never staying he had 1 foot out the door from Day 1 . I liked Dylan and wish him well but he and his family used Nebraska for financial gain.Yep…all of the armchair experts were so ready to dump Dylan 4 games into the season…Well, the last three games were a great object lesson of what happens when they get their wish.…now what?
DR was never the problem (when was the last time Nebraska had a quarterback at the helm with a career 69% completion percentage)…The problem was/is the interior on both sides of the ball.
I for one am sorry he’s gone, but wish him well.
.
Now the only thing is does Moore stay and Dylan will RS?Glad he used Nebraska to get in-game experience only to roll out when he should be peaking in college. Classy. Hopefully a lesson learned by our staff.

Dom was literally shopping him last year.I disagree.

But I thought we didn’t want him anymore, he sucks, etc etc we are glad he’s leaving ? Which way am I supposed to thinkGlad he used Nebraska to get in-game experience only to roll out when he should be peaking in college. Classy. Hopefully a lesson learned by our staff.
I will disagree a little Dylan was absolutely part of the problem he held the ball to long he audibled way to much into bad plays. He ran into sacks his pocket presence needs a lot of work. Absolutely correct our line were horrible.Yep…all of the armchair experts were so ready to dump Dylan 4 games into the season…Well, the last three games were a great object lesson of what happens when they get their wish.…now what?

All of those things are true. The OL was a major problem but did you watch Oregon the other night Dante Moore was running for his life at times. Every line in America at times has trouble blocking.if he goes to oregon we will find out if his uncle and pritchett was the problem,
they probably know how to block
well we know he won't be running for his life. not much shudder in him.The OL was a major problem but did you watch Oregon the other night Dante Moore was running for his life at times. Every line in America at times has trouble blocking.
Dylan is the problem if he eats up 10-15% of your NIL payroll, especially when we are so weak at the other expensive positions like DT and OT. Emmett made like 200k to be the best player on the team, Dylan got 2 million to play little more than half the season and only play well in a few games. If the goal is to get paid, he should be commended. If the goal is to win, make your teammates better, bring glory to the university...he failed. Fans probably should think of him as a failure here, but an agent or fan of players getting lots of money and attention for doing very little, should make him their role model. He is an adult. He chose to take millions of dollars before performing any service. If his production doesn't match the pay then he deserves criticism and to be replaced. TJ was making 0% of what Dylan was making. TJ played in half the games as Dylan, and much less than half the snaps. He had 5 TDs, 1 INT, threw for 1000 yards on 60% completion. He also rushed for 120 yards. Raiola had nearly -100 rushing yards. Most fans don't want TJ back but if we could add an OT and DT for the price of Dylan, TJ would have been much more valuable than Dylan.Yep…all of the armchair experts were so ready to dump Dylan 4 games into the season…Well, the last three games were a great object lesson of what happens when they get their wish.…now what?

Did NU try to use Dylan for financial gain?He was never staying he had 1 foot out the door from Day 1 . I liked Dylan and wish him well but he and his family used Nebraska for financial gain.
yeah, I got carried away and thought it was something else... I tried to delete in time but that didn't work lol
Yep sure did , it doesn’t change the fact on Raiolas end .Did NU try to use Dylan for financial gain?

Payroll is limited, it is obvious DR wasn't worth making many times that of any other player especially when we had holes on the lines. Sure, he was good enough but he also cost us good coaching on the oline because he wouldn't stay here unless his uncle stayed. The fact we paid so much, then had to pay his uncle and then people turn around and blame the position group his uncle coached as the reason for our failure is so brain dead. Our oline was bad because DR came to Nebraska and forced Nebraska to keep his family member as coach.^^^ Doesn’t understand payroll versus production. Manipulate and.
The problem wasn’t DR, it was the interior line on both sides of the ball. A retarded analyst could surmise as much.

The only person who got a huge raise because of Dylan's play was Rhule, as far as I can tell everybody else in the program is looking at losing their jobs or pay as the program slowly implodes. He is a placeholder, a circus freak who takes the place of qbs of ages past. Nobody really cares who takes the snap, we show up and cheer regardless, and obviously the quality has dropped precipitously since most of us became fans.Did NU try to use Dylan for financial gain?
I read for 2025, 3.35 sec avg, 4.38 sec under pressure. Both of which were among the longest in the country. It was a difficult stat to narrow down but both AI I used came up with the same numbers, doesn't mean they are correct. I tried google first for actual stats.DR held the ball approximately the standard of most NFL quarterbacks (about 2.8 seconds). Do the research. The problem wasn’t holding the ball…it was the pathetic O-line play. Low info husker fans get it twisted all the time...which is much of the problem.
Interior line was fine on offense. Right tackle was a problem with Gottula’s early season injury. We didn’t have the NT we needed to run a 3-4.^^^ Doesn’t understand payroll versus production. Manipulate and.

Per Grok:
2.89 seconds was Dylan Raiola’s average time to throw (the time the the ball was held after the snap, before passing, or handing off).
You all are letting your hate/feeble memory cloud your judgment.
By October, none of the Raiola is a bad QB crowd will admit to ever thinking such a thing.Glad he used Nebraska to get in-game experience only to roll out when he should be peaking in college. Classy. Hopefully a lesson learned by our staff.

Yep. The line sucked while he was here and Dylan struggled. And the older, experienced Raiola will be much improved playing with experience as well as in a much better program. All of those things are true. Not sure why both sides can't admit that.
Holla
There's a third group in there in between. But I am saying the "Dylan sucks" group will be disappearing sooner or later.Just to be clear, there's a difference between thinking "Raiola is a bad QB" and thinking he wasn't worth all that it appeared to cost NU. Both monetarily and sacrificially. Big difference.

You calling everyone stupid and then you include his “time to hand off” is counting in you average? Seriously?
