We will Ed. I am glad sports are back and don’t want them to stop but Ed I do wonder if you have any insight on this...how are they able to keep the virus from spreading while playing football without masks? My son played baseball without a mask and I was totally comfortable and so happy he had the opportunity to do so.

As I type I am sitting on a hill watching my youngest son practice football. My kids were going to school in person until they went all online. My wife is a teacher and she desperately want in person classes. In two weeks our schools are going hybrid. Covid is very real. My view is we have to do the best we can, wear masks, smaller attendance, but we have to live. My whole family had been depressed. This has sucked.

I wish you luck but I'm afraid it will go ignored. These kids need to be back in school. They're truly suffering.

My whole family had been depressed

I think nearly all of us are, if we are honest. If/when the numbers ever come out, the psychological impact of all this will be scary. That epidemic will never reach herd immunity.

That picture of the little kid pulled up in his chair outside of Cardinal Valley Elementary will put some pressure on the board. Some kids just don’t have internet at home and hotspots and Chromebooks are not coming as fast as they need to be.

That being said, I have heard nothing about a plan at all. Absolutely zero. Someone did put some “stay six feet apart” stickers in the hallway.

Once the election is over the floodgates will open. At this point everyone is restraining themselves so as not to give the lib media ammo. People will give zero effs about masks after that.

Board meeting on Monday. School board members are saying they will get more information on safety protocols, etc at that meeting. We shall see.

I think if you really believe that you’re going to be disappointed. I think Biden will most likely win and the virus isn’t going anywhere.
Are you forgetting Kamala Harris is his running mate? Biden is 163 years old. That wouldn’t be good unless you want a nation of peckerless men walking around.

Anyone else heard that Dr. Stack’s kid goes to Lexington Catholic where they are doing in person learning? Dr Stack is the one who stands next to Andy every day saying how dangerous it is and says we can’t go to school. If he says well it’s different because they are private and don’t have to worry about bus transportation then I wonder why city buses can transport people all over town? If his kid does go to in person learning I wish the press would ask him for an explanation.

I don’t know first hand. Someone said they know someone who’s kid has a class with them. That’s why I asked if anyone else heard this and also said “If his kid goes to in person learning....” and said wish the press would ask. Based on Andy’s tweet, looks like Andy’s kid is learning virtually (with probably a lot more helpers than most who are learning at home).

Ed - I think I was pretty up front and clear with my post. Don’t see anywhere in my post where I said it was 100% true or that I said I knew for a fact.
