Coach Stoops needs to bring in Randall Cobb to talk with the team next year - a "pep" talk before the season begins. He is a clear example of someone who gives his all and has developed his fb acumen through hard work and commitment. Love the energy he gives on every play!

I get tears in my eyes watching this. Cobb is the greatest football player to ever come from Kentucky. The only time Ive ever thought ky could win any game it played was when Cobb was there. THE GREAT ONE

My belief is Cobb will lead the Packers to Super Bowl 50 and win MVP. I believe this will happen.

I know RCs don't grow on trees...

...but that is the type of versatility, athleticism, and dynamic play making ability the CMS era is lacking...overall the talent and depth is better, but as of right now there isn't that "dude"...

We absolutely need some sort of utility/wildcat back...

somebody who can move the chains and make big plays from multiple positions including QB...

I think the staff should make it their priority to hit the juco and transfer trail hard to find some kind of diamond in the rough athlete who can come in and make some things happen...

I don't know that DB is full ready to carry the load and be the guy...I think we need somebody that can help him by making plays as well as playing some QB to juice the O when things are stale and DB struggles...

I'm surprised there was no mention of his HS football coach. I was a trainer at Riverdale HS under Gary Rankin before he moved on to coach Alcoa. The guy is a legend in Tennessee. Record of 369-70. With 14 state titles under his belt. 6 at Alcoa alone.

Yep I agree and I think we have one coming in next year. YEAST!! Go watch his senior highlights on hudl and he has a Cobb type game. He has recieving touchdowns, rushing touchdowns, throws for touchdowns, returns punts for touchdowns, has INT'S for touchdowns, returns kicks for touchdowns, runs the WILDCAT for touchdowns. He isnt getting much talk on board but he has that "IT " factor like Cobb. I am not saying he will be as good but the potential is there if he works hard and puts everything into it. Go watch and you will see what I am saying. He almost looks like a RC clone in his highschool days. I am excited about yeast. I am suprised the Buckeyes are not trying to steal him from us.

I think Boom has Cobb-ish skills with running, elusiveness, big plays, etc.. He gets dinged up easier than Cobb but Boom is a lethal dude with the ball in his hands.

Its really a shame he was never on a good UK team. He probably would gave been a heisman candidate. I miss watching him play at UK :weary:

Cobb and the Packers are a good fit. In Sunday's game he made some good blocks and was just a total team player. He makes the game exciting.

Agree

Boom was statistically the best big play running back in college football...he is very impressive - and our offense was absolutely terrible without him.

Cobb is the best football player I have seen play at UK. I have seen some really good position players, but Cobb was the best football player.
