I didn’t vote for Barry. He only dwells on the negative as far as I’ve ever seen and aside from complaining about fiscal issues has never shown me any ability understand how to improve the quality of the education at Penn State. He is a one trick pony who cherry picks “data” to prove his preconceived notions, and believes he’s the smartest guy in the room. And when challenged, he becomes insulting and childish rather than constructively discussing the point at hand. He would be an embarrassment to the university if elected.
If this guy is against Barry, that is all I need to know. I will now cast a vote only for Barry.

The vote tally over on the BOT webpage as of yesterday says 13,099. Someone on FB said there were only 14k votes cast in 2019 the last time Barb, Ted, and Bill ran. Someone is getting voter attention.
Maribeth. You can pretty much take it to the bank she'll be the top vote getter. The PS4RS minions will all vote for her.

Another vote for BARRY. o_O and only BARRY. o_O . I didn’t appreciate his way of addressing people on rivals.com, but he has toned it down here. Hopefully he has learned to focus on the (real) issues while maintaining decorum. In any case, he’s finally on the ballot (let’s hear it for perseverance), and he’s the only one to get my vote.
I also voted for Barry and only Barry. Deep down, he knows that the game is stacked against the Alumni Trustees and they are basically powerless to get anything done. But, I know he will continue to call out the fiscally outrageous decisions the board makes in spending and management of the university's funds.

I also believe he is truly invested in his efforts to make PSU a better place (academically and financially) while many of the other candidates are looking at the trustee position as just another bullet point on their list of lifetime achievements (and I am not denying that many of which are quite impressive).

Finally, for the three candidates who lead their position statement with "climate change" ..... please ......ugh.
