Ghost is and always will be a boss.

He along with Andre 3000 and Sean Price round out my favorite three rappers of all time.

Mashburned thinks Outkast, and especially 3 Stacks, are marginal and completely overrated. [laughing]

That's how hard he is. Extremely hard.

On board with the Kids See Ghosts album. Very good. Only Kanye can rap a bunch of gun shots and have it stick... which btw, everyone is saying it's Kanye, but I could swear that's Lil John for the first few rounds of gun shots before it fades to Kanye...

J Prince...J FN PRINCE....made drake not release this track that was already laid because.....it was too mean???

That’s gold, and honestly probabaly the best way this could’ve gone.

That whole piece reads like extreme damage control. Like a "Oh Yeah, we have something so good we can't even RELEASE it" type of move. Not buying it. Not buying that a guy like Drake has THAT damaging material on a guy like Pusha T.

It been a minute since this has been spoken of, but I dig Joyner Lucas. He has a few good songs I really like. Kendrick Lamar is good as well. It’s nice knowing rap hasn’t been killed by groups like 21 savage and lil yachty. That’s just garbage.

One year later and I'm almost completely out of the rap game.. No shame, have no idea what's even good. RIP 32.. If it sounds good I'll listen to it. I have zero bandwidth for the underground and "good" rap.

My two most favorite "rap" songs right now are Post Malones "Sunflower" and Chances' "GRoCERIES"

Drake retired so that’s good.

WunTang is forever so that’s good.

Benny the Butcher closest thing we got to the 90’s so that’s good.

Never heard of Benny till now. Good ****. Has that classic era of rap feel to it.

To me, the best rappers in the game right now are Chance, Pusha T and Vince Staples.

Kendrick released his worst album of all time 2 years ago. What's he doing currently?

Best current rapper is still Jay Z.

Favorite ghost face killa song

Top 5 rappers of all time
1.2pac first rapper to make the hof
2. Biggie-greatest freestyle artist ever
3. Jay z- enough said
4. Eminem- thank god a honky made it in the rap game
5. Nas/snoop tossup both put out great ****

Rap from the 90’s through 2010 was the greatest era for rap. Some of the **** put out today with the imitators and fakes blows. I was never a fan of ja rule, fat joe, or groups like the outlaws that leeched off of Tupac.

It’s sad because Eminem is the last of a dying breed. There is a lot of pure **** out there, some mentioned in this thread
Yup and even Em himself had a several year period when his music was bad. Seems to be a totally different rapper since Kamikaze (in a good way)

Kill shot is Eminem in his finest hour. I’d love to see him battle biggie but that will never happen unfortunately. The sauce, and the warning are right there with it

Often wonder what rap would be like if Pac and Biggie were never killed. Would Eminem have became nearly as famous? Would've been interesting to know how rap overall would've been like.

It’s not just the rhyme there’s so much more to it. The beat, and the voice also play a huge part. If your voice sucks you aren’t going to make it. Ice cube is another great rapper who is a great story teller. His song ghetto vet is one of my all time favorites. Some rappers today just mumble **** or come up with some stupid **** and people dig it, not sure why. The one rapper I dig now is Joyner Lucas which I mentioned earlier. I like his style

Dre has left death row. He was looking for talent. He would of found Eminem still. I think he would be just as good, as he would be pushed even harder by those two greats. I also think all beef would of been squashed. Tupac wrote god bless the dead before he died talking about his boy biggie. Tupac felt that biggie/puff should have known that he was coming up and he would be protected since they were the kings of New York. Since it happened at their studio he felt they were responsible even though they had nothing to do with it. The person who set it up allegedly was jimmy henchman because pac wouldn’t sign with him. The only reason he admitted to it because the statute of limitations ran out. The truth is suge knight killed rap music. From his bs at the source awards to putting **** in Tupac’s head. Tupac was actually going to rewrite against all odds when he disses nas. They had met face to face at an awards show and he apologized to nas and said he was going to take that stuff out. He never got the chance to. Nas pays tribute to Tupac at his concerts by doing a Tupac song usually at the end

Lil dicky is eminem if em had a solid upbringing. Theres only so much a white suburban jew can rap about so i get he has to be silly and himself. But if he would have had trauma somewhere in his life I swear he would be on everyone's radar.

The double entendre's in this song are absurd...takes a few listens to get them all

He’s pretty funny. Also didn’t know Kel was alive?

Krazy, you gotta get your bourbon bottles up in da club, up in rap videos, etc.

Rick Ross is making a Port of Miami 2. Probably have a few bangers, surrounded by meeeeeeehhhhhh like most everything. His first album was dope.

I've never cared much for Rick Ross. His gangsta act always felt fake to me for some reason. Could never get into it.

Ross catalogue is deep man. Arguably the best ear for beats in the game. You can always count on at least a few bangers, which in today's era is about all you can hope for, imo.

:fire::fire::fire: KRIT is so talented.
