Has a big 2023 at Miami Ohio with 1,075 yards and 13 touchdowns rushing, then transferred to Ole Miss and had 9 carries for 75 yards in 2024.
I guess Ole Miss didn't work out how he had hoped?

I'd be curious to see the stats on how often it works out the way the player hoped it would.
My guess is the number is exceedingly low. I think the stats for 2023 show that only roughly half actually land at another school with a scholarship. Of those, who knows how many actually end up having a more productive playing experience at the new program than they had at the old program? I bet for every Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, there are probably 10 or 20 who fail to see any significant upgrade in productivity.
