i've been around football for a while and had never heard the term "rat trap" until Coach Stoops mentioned it.

In retrospect I hope it's not one that comes back to bite him, but since it's out there, thought would have some fun with it.

Here's the UK version of "Rat Trap Fever"
set to that old heavy rocking tune "Cat Scratch Fever".

Also, called being undisciplined. Your coach should put the fear of God in you if you don't execute your assignment because of lack of discipline and Stoops does try, but he doesn't hold the level of respect that he should from these guys. I think this is how he wins recruits but loses them on the field. If they are immature (90% of our team) and you have a buddy type, friendly relationship off the field it is hard to hold them accountable in between the lines.
