Down 17-9 with a little over 2 minutes in the game, Rattler led the Saints down the field and connected on a 20 yd TD pass with 21 seconds left and then ran in the 2 pt conversion to tie the game.

Shough got the start and was 9/12 for 66 yards.
Nice showing by Rattler in the 2nd half, but probably doesn't do a lot to move the needle for the QB competition. Saints aren't excited about either one. Best case scenario is the Saints settle on Rattler as the starter and just roll with him and let him develop over the season and are impressed enough that they don't draft a QB next year. I have a feeling it's going to be a herky jerky back and forth affair for the season where neither QB really gets the opportunity to develop.
