Lamar best bet now would be to play out next year under franchise. Reason no team offered because they know Ravens has cap space to match most deals offered. After another year, he becomes an unrestricted free agent and will be in a much stronger position to negotiate since any team picking him up don't have to give up multiple picks. Then again, the offer sheet may come once the dust settle after the draft.

Maybe if you are Indy or ATL you put in a bid, which maybe isn’t all Lamar wants but one that the Ravens can meet. If they pass on matching then you have a QB for the next decade. If they match then at least you can go to your fans and say you tried.

This was probably always the case and they would have got there a lot sooner had Lamar had an agent. I admire Lamar of his position but he is an athlete not a business manager....

LJ made a total of about $32M past 5 years. An agent would have gotten him paid at least $30-40M yearly for the past 3 years with something like what Jalen Hurt just got. Kid is a pawn for the NFLPA and lost more money than what he saved from not having an agent.
