This is possibly true, although I would give Hyman higher marks as an administrator. Hyman not only hired Staley, but he knowingly took the ire for implementing business measures odious to many, but which had to be adopted if we were ever going to move into the 21st Century as a program.The problem is finding one who gets along with the major booster and the legislature well enough to be able to go to them and ask for funding for the unending new projects and improvements. We have never had an AD that was as good in those respects before Tanner.
That is a huge issue and concern that many on here overlook.
