Well, it should be out him. It's his college education and future. I doubt that any of us who went to NU went to serve the university first and our own futures second.
Definitely an underwhelming list of other offers. Hope it all works out for him.
Our existing RBs have history with the program, He really does not, Plus Kelly was a late addition to the party. And perhaps he was told by the incoming staff that there were not gonna be a lot of opportunities for him. Better for him to move on now vs later
We also signed two good RBs in the portal to partner with Komo.
Chip Kelly is definitely the most intriguing and important coaching staff hire since Hankwitz (not including the prescient decision to hire Braun).
