What? Ahoskie

This is crazy, we have to drive an hour for a home game. Well this is officially an away game, no home field advantage is there even was one
I hate it for your players goob really but...
One hour is a drive, however ER will STILL be making a three hour trek Saturday morning...
Probably have to leave at 6 AM or earlier...
Not like a home game for NE but still quite a haul for ER...

Yes Sir I completely understand. We had a 3 hr drive last year when we played Clinton in the Eastern Championship last season. We always play better on the road so maybe this is a blessing.

daagoob, is your friend going to stream it on Facebook or another site? If so give details again; also since Hertford has the cameras is there a chance it might could go on NFHS?
I want to see it not just hear it but if video isn't available what is that radio site again

I will see him tomorrow at 10am and find out for you. I will tell him there are people hoping he'll stream it. He does a good job at it. I watched his stream when we played at Hertford County earlier this season. I will post and tag you in it before I head for Reidsville

You're going to Reidsville for the Reidsville/WRH game?

NC Preps should recognize a high school football fan of the year. I know who I'd vote for. According to Google, that's over 250 miles. From where I am it's farther than Atlanta, but NFL and NCAA fans make long drives, often; I would rather see the high school playoff game. Sometimes, it feel awfully good just to go somewhere.

Northeastern game got moved to Saturday so I figured this would to be a fun game to go to. I have some friends who are driving there from as far as two hours away, plus @blackbulldog and @dogs79 will be there so I figured what the heck, maybe the Dogs will pull the upset and I can witness it. The ride doesn't bother me and I'll be leaving straight from work all dirty but who cares.

I wouldn't tell her, my friend, but she knows she has a good man in you...I been retired a little over a year, now. Where I worked, about every few days was a real @$$ kicker, and just to go to a game in an adjacent county was such a relief.

I hope you have a good, safe trip and get to enjoy the game. I like Reidsville, and their stadium. I've met TheMule, Rambbq and I think TGT was with them (Good Guys).
I worked for a man, once, who, when the notion hit him, he would just takeoff. He would do something like leave work, drive to Coney Island in Brooklyn (12 hour drive from here), just to get a Nathan's hotdog from one of their original locations. He lived to be over 90 and I think just going somewhere helped him.

Great story, I also live to ride. I tried to get my wife to come but she said it's to far

dragoon is a serious fan, he came to our Wallsce-Rose Hill conference championship game this year (were 4 hours fro Elizabeth City; (dashing drive fast in his Maserati) and in the last 2019 playoffs he came to our 3td round game against West Craven. Dagon talks a lot of junk but he knows high school football .

I wish Hertford County could turn on their NFHS cameras tomorrow at 1pm

Thanks @Wizard of the East , Elizabeth City is a hot mess right now. It just took me 30 mins to get out of the town. Everything is blocked off, law enforcement from as far away as OBX and Edenton. Helicopters flying everywhere
