Re-Name Your Team

This week the Washington Football Team formerly known as the Washington Redskins became the Washington Commanders.

We have also seen in the last couple of years schools change names.

Staying with this theme... if you could re-name your mascot... what would you re-name them?

Buckingham Bucks. Buckingham central high used to be the Buccaneers but when the schools merged they voted on a new nickname. I’d go with Bucks instead of Bucs to avoid that connection, but you can’t tel me the alliteration wouldn’t be fitting

Radford Arsenals. Named after the federal ammunition plant we have had for many years over this way and it was up for discussion as the school mascot in the 1950's, but they picked Bobcats.

I like that — but I’d go Arsenal as a singular entity instead of Arsenals.
