It’s kind of crazy to think we are entering into a new era of UK basketball. I’m excited for the future. Got my tickets/flights ready for the UK/Zaga game in Seattle.
I agree. I’m not much of a baseball guy, so I have been starving for sports since March. Hoping the football Cats can win 8 minimum and looking forward to seeing the Pope-coached Cats in action.
Also, not shocked that someone brought up partisan politics on the very first post in a thread about being excited for basketball season.

Would be great if BBall started right after football ended or started whenever it would finish right as football was starting; not a baseball fan so having a longer stretch of enjoyable sports would be ideal.

I am very excited for the upcoming basketball season. But I am also excited for the football season. Hoping we have a great sports year. Baseball started it all off. Now we get football. Hope this team does great. Would love to see us beat 1 or 2 of Ole Miss, Texas, UGA or Tennessee plus the other games most have us winning. That would be a put us at 9-3 or so. Would be a fun year. Basketball wise, I think we will be a very good team and will be much better than people are predicting. Go Big Blue!
I wonder if this is what withdrawals feels like? I think I'm going crazy waiting and being so excited about the new path basketball is on!!!!
Also excited for football! Eager to see what our new OC and QB can do.
Fixin' to be the best time of the year for sports. Baseball's about over, college/pro football then roll right into college basketball.

Anyway, I'm more excited for the hoops team than I have been in years. They should be fun to watch and hopefully appear to have more of a plan on both sides of the ball than what we've seen under Cal. If I'm gonna ***** about anything ruining it for me it'll be NIL and the transfer portal before it'll be politics.
