Real college football teams only play on Saturdays

Remember those sentiments echoed by many a Scat fans, when UofL was playing
weekday games.

Those good showings by the Cards, playing on Tues,Wed,Thur, and
Friday nites, got them into the Big East, and ACC.

I remember big blew callers on lachlame's show belittling the Cards for the
non saturday games. Even larry glover looked down on the Cards for doing it.

Now look whos playin. Auburn wins 33-20

Amen remember well. I l remember them turnng down a home Thursday game with MIss St. and Mitch saying "there students come first".

Thursday night is a prime college night now. The other days, not so much. Even the NFL has Thursday night games.
