No, it wasn't in the W-L column, but at 1:39 left in the game when Nelson strip-sacked Stroud, ole Frosty ran out onto the field without recognition and touched a ref. Official he touched immediately threw a flag and I'm pretty sure I heard the words "personal foul" come out of his mouth when he turned his mic on but no penalty was ever assessed. A personal foul there ends the game and completely deflates the team after a huge play that gave us one last shot of life. B1G would usually just seal it up there but I suppose they decided to let Frost lose the game on his own. It would appear we got a fair shake from the B1G against a playoff contender late in the season...make of that what you will.
Someone should also pass this rule on to Frost in case he doesn't know about it:
Use of Tobacco
ARTICLE 7. Players, squad members and game personnel (e.g., coaches, athletics trainers, managers and game officials) are prohibited from using tobacco products from the time the officials assume jurisdiction until the referee declares the game over.
PENALTY—Ejection. Dead-ball foul. 15 yards at the succeeding spot [S27 and S47].
