What did you expect? Anyone with real knowledge of college football would not be surprised at the outcome of the game. Come on. Its time to get real and quit sugar - coating. They are not remotely close to being a top ten team. I graduated from UNL and I am embarrassed by the product they have put on the field. They are light-years away from being remotely competitive with the major programs around the nation. The previous 8 games against poor competition should have spelled it out for you. Unfortunately, those on this board that think they know something about college football, will learn the hard way. Tell it like it is and quit your rah rah crap. 2nd worst loss in 126 years of husker football. Not even Callahan lost like this.

Yep. It's a testament to how well the staff has done that we were even in a position to believe NU was a top 10 team. I've been saying that we're just like Iowa was last year. Not really that great a team, but just kept finding a way to win the winnable games.

It's going to be a battle, but this team can still go into a bowl game at 10-2. If I had told you before the season NU would be 10-2 heading into a bowl game and their two losses would be on the road to highly-ranked teams with one of them in OT, I'm gonna make a WILD GUESS you'd have taken that.

Simple math says otherwise... 60>59... surprised you didn't know that.

70-10 is obviously worse mathematically. 62-3 is clearly worse when you take into account a top ten ranking, the rape occurring on national tv in primetime, and the expectations that had been built over the first seven weeks of the season.

Looks like you might have a problem with abstract thought and getting past the simple comparisons.

He said that not even Callahan lost lIke this. I was just pointing out that he was wrong. Besides, who cares which one is worse. They both suck.

I don't care that this loss was worse than the Callahan loss. I was just pointing out that it was. You're right, they both suck.

You know how far we've fallen when we're arguing whether a 59-point loss is worse than a 60-point loss.

Lol the Vegas odds makers, and most of the college football talking heads were surprised by that outcome. Northwestern played them close, we beat Northwestern. I didn't think we would win but I can't recall anyone predicting a 62-3 loss.

Ohio State was their own biggest obstacle in their games against NWU and PSU. They got their **** together last night, and the result speaks for itself.

In hindsight sure, but no one called this, it was shocking. I did not foresee the Huskers lying down like lambs. We were scared from the kick, the staff and the players. I am a Riley supporter still but the question remains, has he been an underdog/loser for too long?
