Ohh no. Playing an infielder in the outfield hurts UK as Ole Miss puts a charge into one off the wall and it goes for a leadoff triple. Could have been caught probably by a more experienced left fielder. Felker didn't go to a spot, but drifted and it went over his head

Plastiak went down swinging. Felker fisted one into left that ends up a can of corn out. Rubalcaba seeing a healthy dose of a 78mph curve and then watches a fastball at the knees for strike 3.

2-1 Ole Miss win.

Have to at least like that we pitched as well as we did.

The positive is that UK barely lost a 2-1 game despite using a whole staff approach. The next two Ole Miss pitchers have ERAs in the SEC hovering around 9. At least with starters, UK should have the pitching advantage. Might get dicey if it goes into the pen.

Hate, hate, hate going down on a backwards K. Get after em tomorrow. Reds and Cats both in it in the 9th tonight and both go down....7-6 and 2-1.

Has Ole Miss named starters for Saturday and Sunday?

Pitching in the SEC has on the whole, been better than I expected. I watched the last 3 or 4 innings, and our relievers did their job, but 3 hits and 1 W will get you beat 90% of the time in baseball. Offense, not so good

I was at the game, very frustrating that no one could come up with a clutch hit. But, Saturday was a fun one.
