I have finished most of the serieses (sp?) that were obviously top picks. Looking for something that is a good series that is under the radar.

Have you caught Arrow? It is ok. I am watching it now and almost done with season 1. It is a bit cheesy though.

I normally get in to either crime suspense or sci-fi series. I have enjoyed Sherlock, Peaky Blinders, House of Cards, Walking Dead, Dr. Who, etc.

For under the radar crime stuff, I recommend Luther and Terriers. Luther is a British show featuring Idris Elba from The Wire and Ruth Wilson from The Affair. Intense and some pretty weird crimes. Really good performances from Elba and Wilson.

I just finished watching Terriers after hearing about it from several places, and I loved it. It only got 1 season, which was a bummer, but it was excellent -- smart and funny. The main guy is Donal Logue, who plays Bullock on Gotham right now.

Since you were able to deal with Doctor Who, I recommend Farscape. It's a pure sci-fi show about an astronaut who goes through a wormhole and ends up somewhere else, dealing with a crew of alien prisoners. It went about 5 seasons, plus a wrap-up movie. It was a really good show and got dark sometimes, but since there was also a lot of silliness, I don't recommend it to everyone. It was done in conjunction with Jim Henson's company, so there are a couple characters that are essentially Muppets. You have to be willing to go with it.

I loved Farscape and saw it was on there and have been thinking about re-watching the series again.

I wish they would get the Stargate series that were on TV.

I am about halfway through season 2 and think it is better, and less cheesy, than season 1.

Both Terriers and Luther are excellent suggestions.

Terriers is definitely amazing. Check it out.

Not sure if it is one Netflix but if you like sci-fi check out like Black Mirror like someone else posted. It is basically a modern-day Twilight Zone about technology. Really awesome and each episode is stand alone. They are airing an X-Mas special soon with Jon Ham that I need to figure out how to obtain.

Trailer Park Boys. Not crime related but it's pretty hilarious. Get through season one and it takes off from there.

I know I'm like a decade behind the trend but I finally got around to watching Dexter this week.
