I gorilla taped a hole in my boat once. It was right at the water line. Staggered layers and used a lighter to heat it and kept smoothing it out. That thing never leaked again. I didn't have a soldering iron for a quick plastic weld. Fished all weekend no problems. Leak free when I sold it.

Dryer lint is fantastic in a pinch.

Baking soda. Mix with vinegar to unclog a drain. Gets rid of fridge odors. Puts out fires. Can be used as toothpaste.
