Record for the remaining games?

Unless we get Lowe and JQ back by January, I think we will end up in the range of 17-16. Maybe get 1 win in the SEC tourney but don't make the dance.
I've watched a bunch of SEC teams play this year and we are a 9-9 team in the SEC IMO.

I'm a big fan of Pope and hope we can do better but if I was betting, this is what I would predict.

If this year turns out like that and we don't land studs for next year, it could honestly be a worse year next season than Cal had in 2020.

And Pope isn’t going to magically learn how to construct a roster. Especially since he failed to garner any of the top portal guys last cycle. Could very well be worse next year.

He needs to be finding new staff members that can recruit. Mark Fox and others need to be shown the door. He should call Antigua and see if he is still interested. Letting him go when he was begging to stay was an epic failure on Pope's part.

19-12 being best possible scenario is pretty depressing and with no big wins that may not be a resume that’s gets you in. Realistically I think we end up 17-14 and on the outside looking in. We won’t be the first four out but on the 2nd four out list.

pretty unacceptable and as much as I was behind the pope hire and thought he would have great success here it is looking more and more like that will not be the case. A place like UK you don’t get 3-5 years to right the ship or you risk falling into the abyss of non relevancy which thanks to Cals last 5 years here we are already on our way there now. If pope can’t land the studs we need (and is looking more and more like that is the case) we need to cut bait fast.
